Prior to joining Sterling, she spent more than 18 years as an environmental and safety professional in the oil and gas industry at companies including Amoco Oil, Northern Natural Gas, and MarkWest Energy. Leanne is a certified Professional Engineer and chairperson of the Pipeline Research Council International. She has a master’s degree in civil engineering from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa.
